Almost ten years after its foundation, Editorial Mapas continues to grow, and recognition of its editorial quality continues apace. In 2009, we received three prizes from the Cámara Nacional de la Industria Editorial Mexicana (CANIEM; Mexico’s National Chamber of Commerce for the Publishing Industry) in recognition of publications such as Cometa, dF a la mano and Gatopardo. We also received the Simón Bolívar prize, a significant journalism recognition—industry decoration, in fact—which was awarded to Gatopardo.

       Additionally, 2009 marks the publication of the dF de la gente guidebook and the lavishly illustrated volume 50 hoteles con encanto en México. And not least of all, we are now proud to be members of Bodhi Tree, an organization of travel industry leaders united for social and environmental philanthropy. We think 2010 is getting off to great start!
